2026 has the sleek, sophisticated energy of a cigarette case. Things are constantly expanding and changing, the year of the horse evokes strength & focus. I like it, I like it a lot. 

Art Magazines + Websites

As James Ó Muirithe will tell you, they are all the rage these days. So much art and creativity is out there for free if only you can get off the app, click that purdy little link in bio and actually engage with a website. Websites are IN for all of 2026.

Reading a well written piece of work is like the sound of a tooth being pulled, nerves and tendons stretching and snapping, it is visceral and harsh and real and I love it. 

København (Copenhagen for those unfamiliar x)

Fashion Week was amazing, I loved every moment of walking the Paolina Russo shows and looking up in the changing room to see Oklou was there meditating on the bed before her performance was GLAM. And yes I went over with a crisp silver pixie cut (Cian in Guys & Dolls I owe you my life) and was wondering why everyone was so friendly and kept talking Danish to me…An incredible opportunity that would not have been possible without Liz Hunt and Cathal Ronayne <3

The style was so inspiring as well, like people watching alone changed my perspective on so many pieces I have in my own wardrobe and the ways they can be worn. Copenhagen street style has a certain whimsy that I think is very distinct to the Irish observer because everything looks high quality but isn’t drab, there’s splashes of colour and whimsy despite it being freezing out.

Bleach

I can confirm that blondes DO have more fun, especially when you’re platinum. Ugh it’s so good, the bleach chemicals seeping into my brain are giving me even more neuroplasticity, my brain is a ball of lukewarm playdoh, a sphere of blu-tac, a babybell wax shell. Idk where I was going with this….being blonde is fun!

Ramadan Butt Medication Doctors

Thank you Amir for dropping the most insane fun fact on me ever. I was not aware that during Ramadan Muslims aren’t supposed to swallow at all, like I thought it was just no food or water. But as a result it’s harder for Muslims with adhd to take their meds and a new industry is flourishing where they get their meds in the form of butt suppositories so they can still take them during the day while fasting.

Savoy (Cork Regeneration happeningggg)

Me writing this right now pleasantly, sexily only minorly hungover like yes another venue that is big and cute. The general consensus from last night? Needs an upstairs/indoor smoking area situation of some sort. And perhaps two dance floors with different DJs playing at once, connect with Nudes & the Latino community of Cork for a reggaeton x techno feast. Reminds me of Sonora in Bilbao lol. Like imagine MILK with a bit of reggaeton….

Footpaths

Driving test número dos done and dusted and the footpaths of Togher are not my favourite atm. I’m a bit odd with them to be perfectly honest. Anyways, 2026 the year of the horse, the year I get some horse power in the family vehicle (pronounced vEH-hickle)

Burritos

I have the fine motor skills of a brain surgeon the way I’m crafting those wraps. I am on an awkward like eye-contact-nod basis with half the gym lads of Cork randomly, like my regulars wouldn't be smiling at me when I pass them but we both know we’ll be seeing each other three times this week.

It’s kind of the funniest thing ever telling people that I do that for a living. Like I just be having jobs tbh, I just be working in places that aren’t real and half of them close down or start to struggle financially as soon as I join. #thevibeibringtothefunction #shrugandsmile

No jewellery

Recently I’ve been loving a bracelet or a necklace STACK. I’m saying things like “I loved my stack last night”, I’m feeling stackyyyy right now. In the spirit of indie sleaze Kate Moss at glasto kind of accessorisation, like let’s Stack girls. Do you stack?

Regular radio shows

Me and Cathal, another gorgeously intelligent Aquarius, had such a ball producing episode one of Odyssey for Éist radio. Thank you to everyone that listened and shared the post and liked the stories and interacted at all with our project, the support and positivity was so wonderful and appreciated.

I heard there was a livestream of it outside The Friary so thank yewww Aoife Man. There will be a second episode and we will do more talking so keep your ears literally flat to your head so you can listen to it when it comes out in March. Episode one was songs for Aries to Virgo, episode two will be Libra to Pisces so you know it’ll be GLAM.
